Hospice Care
What is Hospice Care?

Hospice provides *humane and compassionate care for the terminally ill and their family members. Care includes physician and nursing services coordination, volunteer support, home health services, grief counseling and pain management. It can be provided in the home, a hospital, or a long-term care facility. Hospice care is appropriate for those who have an incurable condition, with a life expectancy of no longer than six months.
