Stairlifts can keep you in your home

First sold in the 1930's, stair lifts are mechanical devices used for lifting people and wheelchairs up and downstairs.

Also known as chair lifts and stair gliders, these seats and platforms can be positioned on curved or straight staircases, indoors or outdoors, and are now battery powered.
They can be used by people of all ages and provide the security necessary to prevent accidental falls which could result in serious injuries!
